Please note the following changes and updates to the Cape Town Fringe 2017 programme. This is a running list that we’ll be updating regularly:

22 September

  • Lamentations – The performance on 26 September at Makukhanye Art Room at 10:00 has been cancelled. The rest remain as scheduled
  • iLizwi Lomzali – There is an additional performance on 26 September at 10:00 at Makukhanye Art Room

20 September

  • Kwathi ke Kaloku – Only one performance.  Catch it at the Zolani Centre on 21 September at 10:00
  • Ellipses (Extract) - Only one performance. See it at the Zolani Centre on 24 September at 14:00
  • Vuka – There is an additional performance at the Zolani Centre on 25 September at 14:00
  • A new show has been scheduled for the Zolani Centre – Stones, runners-up of the 2017 Gauteng Ishashalazi Competition. Stones follows the twisted story of two characters, Zuko and Sdima – one has a motive to revenge his father’s execution and the other is busy celebrating his “new” life of marriage. All hell breaks lose when they find out that they have strongly influenced each other’s lives.

  • Please note that the production The Kaffirs scheduled for Cape Town Fringe performances at The Bindery, Theatre Arts Admin and Zolani Centre has unfortunately been cancelled due to the unavailability of two of the cast members.
